I wanted to like this more then I did. I typically enjoy wines from the Sierra de Grados especiallyt old vine Grenaches. This was a little out of balance for me with 14.5% ABV. The fruit was definitely showing higher altitude: tart black and red fruit with medium + acidity. Maybe with more age.

Field blend, baby. Nice mild black pepper, good tannins. Only downside is that it’s a touch watery, but I was biased going in as my pal who sold it to me indicated it would recall Chateauneuf du Pape. Not quite, but quite solid..
