Split a case of this lovely foothills Syrah with a friend back in 2001 or so, this is mature, but shows lovely minerality and candied Redfruits with lovely freshness and acidity, 20-year-old vines and 13.2% ABV explains, I think, the freshness still there, really lovely Syrah made by the McCreadys. . . . .

Jan 8th, 2019Definitely mature, but great minerality still, medium-bodied, great balance, probably better 3-5 years ago, but such great acidity has really preserved this one!!
