Monastrell

Too much sulphur and first. Decant the f out of it. Then it softens to cherry but the alcohol keeps hitting the back of my throat hard. To be fair, this is a lovely, well-made wine, but it’s just a little more alcohol forward than it needs to be. Residual sweetness in the aftertaste.
