Big tight fruit forward. Needs some decanting and should show better after an hour or so. For a $20 Cab, it's ok if you like the style. If it was a $12-$15 Cab then it would be more attractive. Not that I'm cheap, but it didn't blow me away in that $20 price point. $12-$15 it would scream value driven.

1/20. If I recall, many years ago one of my first wines was a Lake Country Red. This one is a good week night wine alone or with food.

After some in the glass, still a bit too harsh, half bodied, and alcohol tasting. Wanted to like it, but hard pressed to do so.
