Not sure why a wine labeled “Sparkling Watermelon Hard Candy” is getting ID’d as a Bordeaux rosé. Vibrant electric pink-orange with delicate, persistent bubbles. Big nose of sweet watermelon that is echoed on the palate with a bit of an ashen note. Bubbles and high-ish acidity make this more of a demi-sec than truly sweet, which makes this a nice brunch or picnic sparkler as well as just a fun tipple. Watermelon mimosas, anyone? Drink now.

So this has thoroughly reminded me why I like Sauvignon Blanc. This is super fresh, floral and peachy with a hint of citrus. Kinda like a fun perfume but you can drink it. There’s a bite at the finish that’s a surprisingly compliment. ❤️
