On the nose, red berries, herbs, spice, and cedar. It was finely balanced on the palate, with flavors of strawberry and slight peppery notes. This wine showed beautiful structure leading to silky tannins on the finish but with enough fruit to keep it pleasant, focused and fresh. Longest tasting note for me. Joyful

Absolutely incredible! This is one of my favorite wineries on the North Fork of Long Island. This red blend is almost like drinking an Italian Barolo...delish!

Finally opening this bottle I received as a gift at our senior manager promotion dinner. Thought it would be over aged but still delicious! Bold, vibrant brick red in color. Strong flinty, slate aroma, not much fruit. Tastes of smoke and leather. Some fruit and round chocolatey notes almost. Pretty high tannins, good acidity and medium high body. Interesting and very enjoyable complexity. Nice treat on a “regular” Friday!
