This is a very light colored wine that is typical of the terrible 2011 vintage. It exhibits a blue fruit nose that morphs to a red fruit, perhaps pomegranate, on the palate. I detect a slight woodiness, a separation of the wood from the fruit. The acid is decent and tannin is surprisingly absent. Finish is spicy. Still, it underwhelms as do all the wines from 2011.
