Quite tart and smooth. Not as heavy as a usual Chardonnay, almost like it’s skipping (happy). Very lemony and bright. A hint of peppery spice at the end. Definitely not oaky.

Completely unoaked indeed! Citrus and acid comes through the nose; light, tart, refreshing, citrus on the palate, texture of not quite ripe pears and granny smith apples. Summer wine (or October in Raleigh).
