No oak makes for very fresh, light, and clean wine with strong fruit -- black cherry and berry. The tannins come across like iced tea, and the acidity is crisp like a white or a rose. There's a bit of stony minerality and just a hint of yeast. This is balanced, refreshing, and pleasant.
