Like neighboring New York State, Connecticut is also well suited to growing fine Cabernet Franc. This one has the silky, rounded texture of a fine, full Pinot Noir with the varietal character of Cab Franc. Nice now but should be at its best between 7 and 15 years of age. Kind of like right bank meets Loire with no discernible flaws.
