Another 4th Friday for the books! What a variety this month!
A meal in a glass, every single time. I always get charcoal and grilled meat on the nose with this wine. Densely packed, the fruit comes through as secondary to me once it reaches the mid palate and finish. Dates, peppercorn, blackberries.

Terrific but still really young. Was actually best two days after opening (kept in fridge, brought to cellar temp before drinking).

Wonderful blend of 84% Syrah and 16% Petite Sirah. What a treat! Paired with filets from the grill and freshly dug new potatoes. Solid showing Shafer!
