Very ripe, pungent wild berries and cherry pipe tobacco on the nose (remember Borkum Riff?). Tart and a little chalky on entry. The finish is fairly clean. Light bodied. I have no idea what this is supposed to be but it’s definitely a palate freshening type of wine.

I liked this one better the second day. The litre bottle helped make that comparison possible! This is a fruit forward wine...cherries, cranberries and a minerality that softens on day two. The bouquet kept changing and kept me intrigued!
