Eeeeekkkk Game of Thrones season finally! For a Chardonnay this is actually pretty good. Citrus flavor and very mild.

Color of bubbly clear egg white. Nose of nice ripe pineapple, flowering and honey note, some green apple, and a bit citrusy. Taste shows similar flavors, dominated by nice flowering and honey note, some hot spice, green apple, slight buttery and saline, and zesty citrus. The content is balanced and full. Aftertaste is quite long with zesty peel, yet again flowering note, some hint of fresh almond, and touch of spice. Being a big fan of the show, I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this bottle.

I'm a huge Game of Thrones fan, so I'm going to try and be extra critical rather than play fanservice. This one was solid. Nose of yellow apple, pineapple, baking spices, lemon meringue, Asian pear, saline, crushed chalk. It tasted of butter and almond served over baked apple pie. Apricot, chalk and honeydew melon behind. Went well with a white sauce pasta.

Nose - Honeydew, lemon, butter, Oak. Taste - citrus, butter, and an odd note I can't place. Probably wouldn't get again.

Aromas of honey, honeysuckle, and a hint of pineapple with flavors of sharp honeycrisp apple, stone fruit, and a light aftertaste of mild oak that mellows into a pleasant warmth. I bought this for a Game of Thrones series premiere watch and was both pleasantly surprised and pleased by this wine.

V16. Pretty good. Soft vanilla nose. Creamy apple and honey kissed apricot fruit. Clean finish. Nice weight and balance. Certainly on par with GOT!
