Jul 18th, 2016When I first opened it, there was green stuff on the bottom of the cork. But I love wine so I was undeterred. I aerated it as it's only 2 years old. Turns out there's tons of.... Stuff in it. I don't want to say sediment because the pieces are kind of big. Well it's alcohol right? Should be okay to drink.
Good news is it smells like sangiovese. The taste is just okay. To be honest the green stuff and chunks are really messing with me.

Tart and light. Not my idea of a Sangiovese. Drank one glass from the bottle and poured the rest down kitchen sink. Very disappointing! :(
