Tobacco, prunes, dark berries, menthol with a touch of vanilla. It opened up nicely after an hour. — 9 years ago

Nose is grapefruit and green grass. Mouth is light and refreshing with a clean and slightly sweet citrus finish. We enjoyed it with grilled garlic shrimp and a mixed green salad prepared at home. — 7 years ago
Nice QPR! — 9 years ago
Enjoyed this with lasagna at a restaurant. Bold with ripe dark fruit. Enjoyable. — 5 years ago
Tart and light. Not my idea of a Sangiovese. Drank one glass from the bottle and poured the rest down kitchen sink. Very disappointing! :( — 8 years ago

Nose of red cherries, mocha, and cranberry. Medium weight with a smooth finish of mild tannins and acid. We enjoyed it with pasta the first night and pizza the next night. Good QPR. — 9 years ago

I agree with the wine maker’s notes: The 2016 Ferrari-Carano Chardonnay from Sonoma County has superior lots of wine from our vineyards in Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, Russian River Valley and Carneros. This full-bodied yet refreshing Char- donnay boasts aromas of lemon, pear, green apple, orange blossom, lychee and peach perfectly balanced by flavors of Meyer lemon, vanilla and graham cracker with a floral finish. — 4 years ago
