I agree with the wine maker’s notes: The 2016 Ferrari-Carano Chardonnay from Sonoma County has superior lots of wine from our vineyards in Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, Russian River Valley and Carneros. Nose is grapefruit and green grass. Mouth is light and refreshing with a clean and slightly sweet citrus finish. We enjoyed it with grilled garlic shrimp and a mixed green salad prepared at home. — 8 years ago

Nose of red cherries, mocha, and cranberry. Medium weight with a smooth finish of mild tannins and acid. We enjoyed it with pasta the first night and pizza the next night. Good QPR. — 9 years ago
