Interesting skin contact blend of Grenache Blanc, Macabeo, Grenche Gris and Muscat of Alexandria. Lovely copper/orange color. Aromas of tropical fruit, white flowers and herbs. Flavors of pineapple, mango, minerals, roasted nuts and those dusty herbs. A hint of vinegar/phenolic bitterness on the medium spicy finish. Chalky texture that dries the mouth. Crisp acidity. The vinegar note is a bit disappointing. Not sure if it’s a flaw or a result of the winemaking process. Better with food.
