Plenty of oak but acidity and complexity too. The fruit seemed to withdraw slowly over the course of 3-4 hours, in a bit of a recoil. Suggesting the need to give it a few more years? Overall, this was an interesting and expressive young Burg.

Tons of oak. TONS. Tannins seem mainly oak derived too. Will this absorb the wood over time? Not sure. Fruit is subdued and so outstripped by the wood that I'm not optimistic.
