Morisoli Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

Past it's prime.

This was by far my fave from the Sequoia Grove 'A Taste of Cabernet' experience today. Red fruits, cherry, raspberries & long finish. Drinking beautiful right this minute. '07 was great year!

Exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa. At 9 years old it was perfectly balanced with fruit forward and deep ruby color. Lovely lingering berry flavor on the palate. Paired well with red meat and a variety of food. Drank May 2023.

Boysenberry and black berry notes with chocolate notes and cigar notes on finish

We had the 2012 Vintage on 9/18-19/22. A terrific Napa floor Cab. The tannins were smoothed out. Blackberry, blueberry, cassis and mocha. Full bodied and fruit forward and well balanced.

We had the 2012 Vintage on 10/24-25/21. SG produces an excellent wine at a reasonable price. Very near Opus One and less than half of that price. A bouquet of blackberry and cedar. Tastes of blackberry, plum, oak, kirsch and chocolate. A full bodied wine with a long finish. An excellent representative of the Napa floor. The tannins were fine but smoothed out.

We had the 2012 Vintage on 2/23-24/20. A real good, full bodied, fruit forward, California Cab. Tastes of blackberry, plum, chocolate and coffee. The tannins smoothed out over time.

Prune, dried fruit, must on nose, still a bit of tannins, really really nice. Thanks @Dhiraj

Still tight and tannic with good fruit and acid. Could be good another 5-10 years. Sad it’s my last bottle.

Excellent. Deep and interesting. Very smooth. Good timing in terms of opening the vintage.
