
Rich and full in the back palate. Big cherry and some cough syrup elements, but enjoyable. Does not taste like a true Port, but more like an aperitif. Pleasant nonetheless.

The kids are home for the weekend- they are as charming as expected. The wine- better than any dessert wine or port we could have opened. Have the bottle is gone! We smell tobacco, fig, and plum.
