Seppelt
Para Vintage Tawny Port Blend
Opened this in early January and having the occasional night cap finished it 2 nights ago. Notes of dried fruit, spice, nuts and burnt flavours. This port fills every corner of your mouth - unctuous. Seppeltsfield have this amazing tradition of releasing a 100 year old Port every year. The 1919 will be released later this year.

Mar 4th, 2019In Langtons Outstanding category. Seppeltsfield has probably the greatest stocks and heritage of Ports in Australia. No visit to the Barossa is complete without a visit to them. What other winery in the world releases a wine which is 100 years old every year (that port is in the Exceptional Category). This wine luscious, viscous and raisiny with great density.

Sep 19th, 2018An interesting experience. We opened this bottle 6 months ago then kept it to see how it would evolve. Like 6 months ago, I found this Seppelt way to loaded, reductive and volatile. It's a port in a single malt costume or vice et versa.quite frankly I didn't understand this wine....
