Very pretty dark bloody red with medium density and ruby rim. Quite the sweaty horse hair aroma, adorned with subtle sweet red cherries. Quite meaningful presence upon entrance, showing very good fruit and excellent character of varietal and area. Quite coppery in its acidity and structure. This is almost text book sangiovese wine from Chianti, pardon the redundance, with a noticeable kick of interesting complexity. This wine is a tremendous QPR!! 90 pts. I'm being a bit generous but I sustain 90 pts.

Farely dark crimson red. Somewhat funky nose with interesting complexity. Aromas of currant and sage. The acidity is brilliant and remarkable, with flavors of black cherries and tart plum, and the expected coppery, bloody basic flavor. Medium to full body. Its acidity makes for a nice structure and formidable finish. This is an amazing bargain and QPR. 88 pts.
