Nuts, currants, candied fruits, without being overly sweet. Light lemon acid touch. Over the years color changed from rose to light caramel. Was excellent wine with chocolate panettone.

Maybe not the most sophisticated Chianti, but the quality for this price is difficult to beat. Not too specific, not too plain, excellent in the middle. Highly recommended.

Very nice and fruity wine , not too strong not too weak, well balanced , is a really good deal especially for the prize! Good wine! Methinks.
