I had a girls night last week and we popped into Liquorland beforehand to grab a few bottles to take to the BYO restaurant for dinner. We couldn't help but not pick up this shockingly pink bottle and at $15 we thought it couldn't hurt. Next minute we were being asked for ID which made us all erupt into laughter seeing as we're all around the 30 mark! Good start to the night 💁
On the eye this dry rosé bubbles from Italy is a lovely watermelon colour. The nose reminded me of freshly baked shortbread and raspberry coulis. On the palate it had a nice mouthfeel, smooth and not violently fizzy with redcurrant and strawberry yoghurt flavours. Simple, easy-drinking and perfect to share with the girls.

It's ok. More like a Prosecco (which they also make). ABV 11% NV. Very sexy bottle! It is fun of course because of the bottle and "fine" as a wine. Not exciting but fine for a fun celebration. Compared to the last Pinot Rose we had (Westport River, MA), it is just a pink white wine. Nice color though.
