Rich purple flowers, cassis, campfire and tobacco nose, one of those super tempranillos no doubt. Very cab-like on palate, too much wood, a bit more leafy than most cabs but clearly a bordeaux imposter from spain. Big and deep on palate but very cedary on finish, not my taste but well-made if this is what your after....no sense of place here.

Truly serious stuff, with rich and structured tannins framing lush, dark and brooding flavors of blackberries and juicy cherries. Long, still very oaky finish but with acidity, minerality and loads of stuffing to balance things, and with great promise for mid-term cellaring.

Soft, sweet nose of vanilla and stewed plums. Light tannins with well-balanced acid. Soft leather and spice compliment red fruits. 2010 Vintage.
