Took some time to open up for me, but lovely after it did. Deep in oak and blackberry, cigar box spice notes but introduces brighter red fruits in the mid/mid-finish on the palate. The strawberry notes jumped out at me sometime later as well as a bit of plum. Great value for a 2011! Still not very fond of Spanish reds sadly, but this one helped to persuade me some otherwise!

2011, Senorio De Nava, Crianza Ribera Del Duero, 100% Tinto Fino. This was an excellent Ribera. Lots of oak, very dark, heavily extracted. A little fruit forward but very well balanced.
