This non-vintage joven Rioja is US$ 3.99. For that price, this wine stole the best of my curiosity. Pretty old ruby color, half translucent and medium opacity. Dirty cherry aromas and second tear bay leaf aroma, and very fainted jerky beef on the nose as well; all in all, not too expressive. Again, dirt enters the palate with black soil flavor, sparragus, some mute cherry flavors and muted leather flavors towards the end, with boring acidity. Good wine for kalimoxo. 50 pts for being a wine, plus 20 points for me being in a very good mood; totals 70 pts. I don't regret spending the 4 bucks.
