Marchese di Villamarina Alghero Cabernet Sauvignon

Ruby red in color with brown tinge around the rim. Medium bodied ...very smooth..integrated..cherry..milk chocolate..slight earthiness..leather..delicious wine from Sardinia! Would have liked to try this 2 years previous. 2006 Vintage.

I wanted to add an update. I vacuum pumped the leftovers of this wine...and waited three days..upon opening I noticed first that the overall color was more brownish...also as I swirled there was a small particle matter around the glass....My 1st thought was...this wine is bad....but it smelled so wonderful..intoxicating in fact...and the taste was so wonderful after 30 minutes of aeration ...twice the wine I had experienced upon opening!! So this experience is new to me (being an avid wine enthusiasts yet still learning) sooo....if anyone has,any insights for me I would appreciate it....was maybe the wine unfiltered???

Wonderfully rich and balanced. Perfectly aged.

Very full bodied! Would definitely add to the collection.
