Great nose. Typical aged Mosel nose. Caramel, botrytis, slate and so so clean. Big peach and citrus. Rich and unctuous like 06 can be and very sweet but nice acidity and freshness. One dimensional as this is Selbach-Oster. But a nice dimension.

I almost never drink ausleses, the only reason I cellared this as long as I did is because the RS was a deterrent for opening. It was enjoyable tonight but that's a lot of sweetness at 8.5% alc.
