Big bright fruit on the nose. Lots of oak easily noted on the palate when you first open it. After decanting for 15 minutes, still very oaky. Hoping it will turn around with some more time.

Part of the Dry Creek AVA, deep purple red with aromas of sweet red fruit and spice. The sweet ripe berries carry forward to the palate along with currants and dried red fruits. The full body wine has good balance pointed acidity and long on the finish ending with earthy minerals.

Cherry, raspberry and blueberry notes with a vanilla oakyness. An nice lingering finish with balanced tannins and a warm spice.
