Ripe cherry fruit in the mouth with fresh acidity and slightly dusty tannin keeping the high alcohol (15% abv.) in balance. A bit monolithic but a very nice drink. 2011 vintage.

Old world wine with new world twist. Never had something from Seghesio that I didn't love. Extremely smooth.
