Label has a rendering of a tree. It’s alright. Not too unique, but has a hint of style. Color is darker and more ruby than many of the fancy Pinot’s on the market. Smells like strawberries and wet bushes in a NW forest. Maybe some cedar or other type of wood. Flavors are dry, supple and tart. Has cherry and berry in there. Maybe more cranberry and raspberry than the sweet bright ones like straw. This is a thinking man’s Pinot. Austere, tannic and chewy. It was a great deal for $5-6 at G.O.

Ci ha deluso questo pino nero da Willtmetto anche non lo possiamo accusare per il prezzo sconto. Troppo dolce, meno un gusto come california pino nero. Era molto sicura che non e’ un favarito per mia moglie, lei non ha fatto un’altro becchiere. Sarebbe dificile trovare un buono pino nero con prezzo bassi nel mondo.

Solid Pinot. Not a ton of fruit, but smooth and not too acidic. Some strawberry up front then flattens out.
