I drank this during the election and cried the whole time and was very grateful for its company.

A good amount of funk when first opened, blew off after some time in the glass thankfully. Tons of red berry fruit on the nose and palate. Silky tannins complimented by bright acidity and a touch of effervescense. Went down quick.

Fascinating wine, after the requisite decanting, required by many "natural" wines to blow off the prickly funk, a silky suave core emerged, a touch smoky, vibrant, classy, like a sensual 1940s film diva. And crushable at 11.5 ABV.

Wow. Wasn't expecting this. Bought at the request of Melissa's friend Dara. Smooth. Velvety. Bit of spice. Drink on a weeknight.

Funk at opening but then... red fruit and shavings from a BIG pencil. Very Franc - acidic and astringent, but had enough balance from fruits and complex flavours

Great mix of tart funk with red fruit. A bit more tannic than most cab francs, with good overall balance. Finish is a bit tight, but great wine overall.
