Appearance: Clear, Deep red-violet
Nose: Clean, pronounced blackberry, black cherry, plum, strawberry, sweet oak, and mineral.
Palate: Dry, medium-plus acidity and tannin, full body. Flavors of blackberry, black cherry, black currant, blueberry pie, plum skins, black raspberry, minerality, most appropriate oak in the background and on the finish. Long finish.
Conclusion: Very good.
Commentary: Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. Big round multifaceted dark juicy fruits (plush), fruit forward without being jammy, excellent mouthfeel (grip). Very enjoyable now, and could age 3 years. Make it a multi-bottle purchase.

One glass deep and in pursuit of giving this a proper read I had to recork it in lieu of immediately demolishing the bottle in an orgy of self-indulgent hedonism. The 2014 picks up where the 2013 left off. Richer, darker, with slightly more structure yielding a more true meritage style, but just as damn delicious.

$25.99, a deep purple/ruby color with lush red and black fruits, licorice, vanilla and mocha; solid acidity and silky tannins keep the fruit in check. Full-bodied and delicious

Bold and jammy with aromas of framboise and buttered popcorn; spicy red fruit and toffee notes dominate the palate.

This reminds me of a big Napa cab, only a little more dilute. The roundness and depth are there, but it goes down easy...no lingering.

Much more Cabernet like than the 2013. Such a deal.

Legit. Certainly makes a case for being the best value on the North Coast. Exotically perfumed kirsch liqueur combined with rocky vineyard minerality, silky mouthfeel and a long persistent finish.

Perfect age. Bouquet, violets licorice. Nice finish. Almost everyone would have difficulty differentiating this from a premier cru Bordeaux.
