Complex wine. Barrel notes, sous bois, old world esque. Really has a more Oregon tinge to it. Has evident fruit but it's a well balanced effort. Easily the best CA Pinot I've had so far early in 2017.

I usually keep my ratings academic but this is a truly special night. We've just welcomed our first child so this bottle is the first that my wife and I have really enjoyed at home in 9 months. This wine is truly special, the fruit and brightness match with such a nice levity and breadth of flavors that really differentiates this from what I'm used to with Carneros. A well made wine
