Fruity rather than oaky, it is light bodied with bright acidity and light currants and dark plum, with hints of mocha in the finish. A great food wine for people who dislike the bombastic smoky French style of PN. We paired with walnut crusted salmon, sautéed spinach, pan fried broccoli, and almond pilaf style couscous.

While it is a quite versatile food wine, it could also make a great warm weather cocktail wine. Decant to reduce the leather and oak of this young wine.

Started off with harsh alcohol scent but it mellowed out fast and was so smooth and bold. I love the berry notes!
