Great google-moo fly! A hint of creaminess up front is balanced by tart Granny Smith apple tone and peach flavors, leading into s ginger-tinged finish. Among my favorite Chardonnays now, this wine could work well as a cocktail wine but excelled in support of a whole smoked turkey with whole wheat bread and chopped kale salad with cranberries, sunflower seeds, and poppy seed dressing.

Good Chard with slight mineral on the nose and medium to slightly strong butter in mid palate and finish. Might be a slight hint of honey as well.

Jun 9th, 2015I'm not a fan of oaky Chards, but this wine was a very pleasant surprise. It came across as off-dry, with peach notes. The wine had the buttery Chard flavor without in-your-face oak.
