Schug Winery
Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Sweet & slightly smokey with more stewed fruit then fresh. It still retains nice freshness on the palate with bright acidity and a bit bitter tannins.
It’s actually not bad though....

Ruby in color, cherry on the nose, fairly fruit forward but still not Russian River heights, more a traditional French style I’d say. Slightest bit of spiciness of oak. Overall nice wine

Delightful, light bodied, easy red to transition to summer

Ok, but a bit bland and lacking depth. Unidimensional.

A great value Pinot that is fine everyday drinker. Doesn’t have the subtlety of some higher end Sonoma pinots but is very balanced and not overly oaky. Cherries and raspberries with this one and easy to drink.
