Gaudeamus Vineyard Upper Block Cabernet Sauvignon

From a mag-Asphalt, tar and menthol on the nose. Focused and concentrated black cherry, roasted herbs and currant. I get secondary notes of tobacco and coffee grounds. Tannins still in play, giving lift and push. Finish is soft and supple, roses and stewed meats all day. Drink now.

Spectacular stuff from one of Schrader's fire breathing beasts. Paired perfectly with all the grilled goodness coming out of the Miminashi kitchen.

Not a big Cab drinker anymore but liked this ok. Many opinions in the group

One hour decant. Consumed slowly over three hours. This is still integrating and was nothing short of spectacular. Drink now or wait, but stellar.
