Dope stuff. Black cherry and potting soil(?!) on the nose. Smooth, elegant, drinking medium to full with ripe black raspberries but soft and round with light tannin. Bright acidity. Really fun balanced stuff.

Upfront acidity, fairly bold tannins, nose conformed on palate, plus more. I always land on the herbaceous eucalyptus note. Such an interesting wine. Would be fantastic while reading The Iliad or Shakespeare.
$50 was a little steep, but sharing with interested friends makes it all worthwhile!

Aug 5th, 20142014 in 2/21. This was a TRIP! Powerful tannins. Abe says no fruit...yup. (at 1st).Fascinating. Just bought this at Dgrss for $20!!! Distro had it on closeout. To wait longer I feel the little fruit would be even more gone and the already not shy acidity would take over 100%. Not thin AT ALL. Pea sized pc of dark fruit wrapped in fist size tannin. U hv to look for it. Old/new world combo feel. Is there such a thing as black cranberry?? Smellsvred but tasted blk. This is so abusive to my palate but so Fascinating everywhere else. Like a hi alc straight spirit could be. Day 2 rustic density, something balsamic. Not as good in AP vs Rdl Burg. Cant recall last time I was THIS fascinated by a btl of Pinot.
