I want to like Scholium Project wines, but they’re just not for me. This Syrah is over the top savory, like drinking cows blood. Beefy, mineral, smoky, with some acidity and red fruit flavors. So intense that I have to drink in small sips. 🤷🏻

Waited too long. Flat with slight vinegar ness. Too bad.... 2011 in 2020

Too young, but wanted to check in on this. 7 hour decant was just about right, then finished over three days. Surprised it had a touch of sweetness, but gorgeous fruit and nice complexity. Love Hudson Syrah. Single barrel produced.
