What a fun bottle! Dark, rich fruit matched with vibrant acidity and silky tannin. Magic in a bottle!

This was surprisingly juicy for a young blend of petite sirah and cinsault. Pepper and blackberries, bright and lifted, leaves a lovely silky feeling in the mouth long after the last drop.

Listed as Petite on list- front label just has winery name- is a blend. Very odd. Volatile - I know this guy is a great winemaker- can't make heads or tails here.

This is a bit of a crazy blend but it works - Petite Syrah (50%), Cabernet (43%) and Syrah (7%) - it's pretty big without being heavy. There's a nice tartness to it and big flavors of raspberries. Some big tannins at play here which is not surprising given half this wine is PS. I think this is a great QPR (I think this is about 30 bucks). Super concentrated and dark. It's a fun wine.

Huh. I guess exactly as people have described to me. It’s super freaking big dark core of purple and blue fruits. Heavily herbaceous - mostly bay leaf. A bit floral as well and also with a hint of sandalwood, evocative even while being a tad bit hot. Palate is broad, thick. Tannins are big and drying. Herbal turns to green pepper on the finish, which I....like? Acidity feels medium but must be more to balance out all of this bigness . This one throws me off. I think it’s good. There are things my brain says are flaws, but I just keep drinking it. I guess that makes it compelling and innovative. Cool. Also just freaking made my day with some lamb. Petite Syrah, cab with a bit of Syrah. Cofermented
