Dry Rheingau Riesling

Wednesday Wine Committee. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert wine. Blind as usual.

Quite mineral/wet rock driven on the palate, but the nose had the smallest touch of sweetness (like faint lychee), alongside nice acidity. Some of the sweetness reappeared on the finish. Definitely dry in style. Zero petrol. I called this dry German Riesling.

It’s in the name: “Rad”. The bottle is beautiful, the wine is beautiful, the experience was beautiful.

Excellent with Thai, nice and sweet

Mineral aroma, light in the mouth.

Enjoyable, lively, medium bodied wine with crisp acidity. Medium straw color. Well balanced with notes of orange zest, honey, and herbs.

A little sweet for me but husband likes it sweet. Great wine for evening.

Mango, marmalade, lemon curd. Sweet, more body, residual sugar. Botrytis

N: candied banana and slightly floral.
P: fruit forward with a slight bite.

N: floral and spicy. Pretty for being open a few days.
P: very dry. May have been killer on Monday but today the fruit is a touch lacking.
