Another visit to the weekly Wednesday Wine Committee, and a wonderful hosting by Glenn. As always, all wines are tasted blind. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert.

This is drinking fantastic. My guess was mid ‘90s German Riesling. Very rich petrol nose, followed by sweetened pear and honeysuckle. Great acid. Plenty of life ahead.

Stunning purity, minerality and tension. Worth seeking out

Nose of candle wax, crayon and petrol. Flavors of honeysuckle, beeswax and Meyer lemon. Acidity is spot on. On the Drier side for an Spatlese but enjoyed the fact that it wasn't cloying.
