Directly from the estate cellar. Aged Riesling nose which shows the vintage character (super hot year) beautifully. Melange of ripe yellow stone fruit, dried apricots, spices and a hint of petrol. Good balance on the palate through the still present but ripe acidity. Medium/full bodied, the wine covers every single part of your mouth with a "silky feeling". Not sure if this boy will develop further. Nevertheless a pleasant surprise.
