Sep 23rd, 2018I've basically kept a bottle of this German sparkler in my house at all times since I've discovered it about 8 years ago. Excellent effervescence and note of pear, ripe green apple, a hint of petrol. Not as dry as a brut champagne but drier than prosecco. Will I mistake it for champagne? No. Can I drink it alone on a Tuesday night with an episode of Gilmore Girls? Absolutely! It is great to mix and I use it to make chicken au champagne (ask me for the recipe!). For 5 bucks, you can't beat it! Pop it open when your friends come over for a slumber party. Or, use it for some hair of the dog after a long night of drinking.

Jun 14th, 2023Ridiculously good for the price. It’s my go-to for homebound brunch or a lazy date night in. Trader Joe's has some decent options. I'll call this one a win. Tart raspberry, unripened strawberries galore.
