Not nearly as dark in color as the California or French syrahs. Weirdly looked more like a pinot noir, almost. Sweet aromas - ripe black cherry and red raspberry with vanilla and caramel. Little spice or earth. Light on the palate, too.

Not on the level when spectator named it wine of the year a few years ago, but still good. More earthy and less fruity than most better shiraz's , but consistent and more full bodied& complex than your average Shiraz. A perineal best buy at $15.

Very sweet, to the point of being hard to drink. Pruny, even after sitting for a bit.
