I was prepared to give it 84 but it opened up a bit more after an hour so 85 is the call. Spicy without any complexity. It is a reasonably priced French blend but no desire to purchase again — 9 years ago
Had the 2012 about 12 months ago and it was exceptional. 14 is good but not as polished as 12. Still a nice effort but if I am being honest it is unremarkable. Perhaps it needed to cellar longer? All in all I still appreciate the DNA of this vineyard and this is still a bottle to pick up if you can find it. — 9 years ago
Not sure what planet the "pro" reviewers are from but this is solid enjoyable Zinfandel. For under $15 it's terrific. Fruit forward , velvety with a pleasant aftertaste it is a tremendous value. Highly recommend. — 9 years ago
A gimmick and utter disappointment — 9 years ago
Never heard of it before buying it but delectable rating made me try it for 14 bucks. I enjoyed it. Nice balance of fruit and meatiness. Definitely will buy again- must let breath for 30 min at least. Happy to find another go to Shiraz. — 9 years ago
Made #33 on spectator top 100 so decided to try it for $13
It was crisp and refreshing and seemed like it had a tiny hint of carbonation in it to make it a nice New Year's Eve offering for our guest. — 9 years ago
2013 was an off year but the 14 is back on the mark. Complex, full bodied, and drinks like a wine 3x it's price. It's a big wine that delivers everything a first class Australian Shiraz should. — 9 years ago
Bland and forgettable but at least no funky aftertaste — 9 years ago

91-92 Solid effort. I don't gravitate towards Merlots but write up intrigued me. It is a classy medium to full mod bottle and worth the $20 I will buy again without pause. Drinks 2-3x it's price tag. — 9 years ago
