This wine was excellent. So much occurring in the glass.. very tight, precise and intense.
Cherry liqueur, spice box and a hint of tobacco on the nose. Palate presents powerful tannins with balanced acidity. Jet black fruits compliment the opulence of the wine. Good density and weight. Needs more time in the cellar, which will enable further improvement.

Gf's wine choice for her bday. Rich rich fruit. Black cherry cola with vanilla. The massive fruit is mellowing out nicely with a decant (hour in now). Tannins starting to show. Last time I had this, it had been decanted throughout the night and I gave it a 97.

My last 2013 Scarlett. Previous 2013 was shut down, no nose at all but this one is ready to strut its Parker 99 rating.
