Opened at 10am and Wow did it pay off. It was closed and didn't reveal much at 1st sip but is now showing beautifully.
Incredibly approachable. Full lush mouthfeel with lots of dark fruit. Just the way I like it! 11 was not a bad year after all!!! 😜🍷😍

Another great Celia Welch venture. 2011 was a tough year. The group preferred the 11 Buccella this evening but still a great wine.

Was lucky and grabbed a small tasting of this before it disappeared. I looked through the notes and noticed that believe either love or hate this wine. The color was ruby red with purple hues. Nose was fruit forward with a ton of dark berries and cassis. The palate is thick, plush, voluptuous, extracted with cherries and cassis. Moderate tannins (7/10) and moderate body that still need time to integrate more. Long and lingering finish. Definite potential to improve.

PnP for the night. Great wine once the alchohol cooled off which took about 45 mins.

Lacking big time. Aptly named Tin Man, for there's not much to it.
