Oct 29th, 2022Definitely not cooked, still needs an hour or two of air. Why buy the new vintages when they’re undrinkable when you can buy an older, plus this being first vintage for under $200.00. Oh wait, probably buy new to make sure they are not cooked.

Comparing it to a 12 Michel Rolland. Right now out of bottle into decanter the M. ÉTAIN is very more fruit forward with huge structure, and nice tannins. We’ll see in a couple hours with some air

Smooth, low tannin, strawberry, light cherry, hint of leather. But kind of lacked that Bigness you expect from a Cab. Beautiful wine, but expecting more of a Wow factor that wasn't there.
